As an Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine specialist with an independent practice in Indiranagar, Bangalore, I wish to be part of and significantly contribute to an institution involved in delivery of high quality health care in the field of Orthopaedics and allied specialties especially Sports Medicine, Shoulder Surgery and Arthroplasty(Joint Replacement).

Interventional Pulmonology

• Advanced bronchoscopic course under Prof. Stefano Gaspirini at New Delhi in oct 2013.
• Trained in fiber optic video bronchoscopy(Hands On Workshop) conducted by The Academy for Clinical Training(TACT) 0n 31.3.2009
• Trained  in Semi flexible and Rigid Thoracoscopy

          (Hands on Workshop) conducted by Dr Henry.G.Colt and
           Dr Pyng Lee of Singapore at Taj Coramandel, Chennai, on 30.9.2010.

• Trained in other thoracic interventions like ICDinsertion,RigidBronchoscopy,Mediastinoscopy,Therapeutic Bronchoscopy including foreign body removal under Prof RajanSanthosham 
• Trained in USG Chest, guided aspirations.
• Trained in TBNA and EBUS guided TBNA under 

          Dr R. Narasimhan.

• Have done more than 4000 bronchoscopic proceedures including BAL,TBLB,EBB,TBNA and thoracoscopic intervenions.

Sleep Medicine

• Trained in Advanced Sleep Medicine Course by Prof J.c.Suri in July 2014
• Trained in Sleep medicine, in Polysomnography(Hands on Workshop) conducted by Dr N.Ramakrishnan in Napcon 2009.
• Active participation in SLEEPCON 2014, 2009, an International Conference conducted by World Sleep Federation and International society of sleep disorders.
• Interpreted many number of sleep study reports conducted by Dr R. Narasimhan and Dr N .Ramakrishnan in Apollo Hospitals, Chennai.

 Critical Care

• Undergone Six months critical care training in rotation  during DNB training in Apollo Hospitals Chennai, under DrBabu.K.Abraham (Sr.Critical care Consultant)
• Have undergone the Basic Assessment and Intensive Care Course conducted by Chinese University of Hongkong on March 14-15, 2009.

•  Asthma has been my preferred field of research:
• Role of Peak Expiratory Flow Rate ( PEFR ) in detecting early stages of Asthma,
• Usefulness of FEF 25-75 in Asthma Diagnosis and treatment,
• Relationship between PFT findings and Clinical signs and symptoms of Asthma; has been my Thesis during post graduation.
