Dr Vybhav Deraje is a National Board certified Plastic surgeon with a special interest in Craniofacial Surgery. He is currently in practice as a Consultant Craniofacial & Plastic surgeon at Sakra World Hospital, Bangalore since his return from Adelaide, Australia in 2019. He is the Founder of ‘Aesthetica Veda’ and provides consultations in the Whitefield branch situated in Bangalore. He also provides consultations at ‘Skin & Hair Sciences’, Bangalore.Dr Vybhav Deraje firmly believes in upholding privacy, confidentiality and safety of all his patients. He also believes in collaboration and close co-ordination with other specialists and professionals to help him to provide comprehensive and holistic healthcare to his patients.

• After a year long stint in the UK, he then focused his training in the area of his special interest, Craniofacial Surgery. He completed the ‘Fellowship in Craniomaxillofacial Surgery’ after working as a Craniofacial Fellow for a year and half from the world renowned ‘Australian Craniofacial Unit’, Adelaide, Australia. The Australian Craniofacial Unit is one of the only two standalone Craniofacial units in the world. Here, Dr Deraje was extensively trained in the management of Craniosynostosis, Cleft lip and palate, Vascular anomalies, Head and neck tumours, Facial fractures and Orthognathic surgery.Since his return from Adelaide in 2019, he has been practicing as a Consultant Craniofacial & Plastic surgeon at Sakra World hospital, Bangalore and also consulting at Skin and hair sciences, Bangalore. He also serves as an Editor to an online journal magazine called ‘Plasticos’.

• Certificate of merit and Gold medal awarded by Apollo BGS Hospital, Mysore and Surgical Society of Mysore for obtaining the highest marks in General Surgery Exit examinations in May 2012.
