My mother was suffering from bouts of knee pain from 2013. The pain was never constant and would come and go. However, slowly it started getting severe. And, it got so bad that she could not even climb the stairs. Through an acquaintance, we came to know about Dr. A.S Prasad. After the consultation, Dr. Prasad recommended that we opt for a knee replacement surgery for my mother and in 2013 she underwent her first TKR surgery. It was a success and slowly with the help of physiotherapy, she started walking on her own. This year, we wanted her to get the knee replacement done for the second knee. But, because of a sudden fracture, the operation was postponed. For a proper treatment of the fracture, we chose Dr. Prasad as he is one of the best orthopaedic surgeons. Again, because of Dr. Prasad's experience and care, the surgery was successful and in a few days, my mother started walking again. A few months later, we got her second knee replacement done, by Dr. Prasad. This surgery also included the repair of the femur. The surgery was a success and post-surgery, she was transferred to the ICU for observation.
